FULL MOON CEREMONY / Ryaku Fusatsu

The Full Moon Ceremony takes place once a month, on or near the full moon. During this ceremony, we come together to acknowledge the ways we have acted outside of the Zen Buddhist Precepts, let go of our past harmful karma, and renew our vows to leave an ethical life for the benefit of all beings.

Classes

Soto Zen Family Reunion

Tuesdays, 7:30-8:45pm, EST

April 2 – May 21, 2023

Each morning in the Soto Zen temple, we chant the names of our Buddhist Ancestors. Each ancestors was once, just like us, practicing Zen as a living person in the world. Each one had hopes, dreams, and challenges, just like us. In this class, we will get to know a few of them a bit better. We may find out that they are more like us than we thought.

Please join us for the 8-week class!
